esere826: Peter and Paul sure did make an excellent mark with their chereograpy
I however noticed that it was only one of the twin that was doing the power dancing

One dances and sings dance hall, while the other mainly sings. ..that is what I have noticed.

And the dance step? Whew!

I recommend make you use the legendarily lepacious Boy Alinco for the advert. "If you want to lepa like Alinco, dance Alingo". . .

Ishilove: I watched the Alingo video for the first time today. I'm not a fan of Nigerian music videos; I think they are a bunch of noisemaking moving pictures, but today, for a record first time, I stood glued to the TV set during the entire of the video.

The song doesn't really tell make much sense, but it more than makes up in the really awesome dance steps. My sib who watched the vid with me sniffed and remarked that P'square should not think in their mind that they have brought a new dance step because Alingo is more that dance, Alingo na exercise. That dance is for Peter and Paul alone, it isn't for 'general consumption'. Lol. In the heat of the music, I got carried away and danced to the beat.

Or tried to.

I threw one leg here, twisted my hand there, shook my waist a bit and gave up.

Alingo no be dance, na exercise.

Just say you dnt know how to dance. My junior sis knows the dance more than p_square so if you cnt do it then you can't do azonto either cus they r almost thesame.

Just for fun, we did the Alingo dance and Gangnam style at the Fitness Boot Camp I attend.

Alingo is serious exercise!!! Especially when it gets to the part you move your arms like a chicken being chased!

Is it that he doesn't have the energy anymore or he is getting old?

It's Paul that was caged up in the video and didn't dance, Peterzks the one on mohawk.

Paul doesn't dance cos there was an accident when they were rehearsing some years ago that almost cost him his spine, now he just sticks to singing.

@topic, the dance is a little of both a dance and an exercise. There's a video on Youtube of a fitness gym using it as an exercise in Estonia.

Me? I learnt the moves by force, no dulling, now I'm an Alingo pro, true story.

Whether dem copy am or not isn't my business, the video gets a thousand views on youtube every ten minutes (or less). If I fit copy like them. WAEC for seize my result for over passing.

I noticed it too. I don't blame Peter for not dancing. It is too energetic...ahn ahn. You no see as Paul pack muscle for body? I bet he developed all that muscle from dancing Alingo .

If I were to dance Alingo for a week, I will develop yam leg. Tubers of legs.

Please dont insult me, i just want to correct you.

Peter okoye is the one with muscles and he does the dance.

Paul okoye is the one that takes the lead, his always singing, and he produce's most of their songs.his the one with shaggy hair

What does it profit a man to stress his heart trying to learn alingo and then having to feel outdated in 6months when someone comes out with aminto?

Ossetian dances: tribute to fashion or call of blood?

National dances in Ossetia are an invariable attribute of all weddings, traditional "kuvds" and holidays. Only not everyone knows how to dance professionally, and young people often prefer modern dances to simple pop music. It cannot be said that the situation is critical and we are threatened with a cultural collapse.

In recent years, quite a lot of national dance circles have been opened in Tskhinvali and regions of South Ossetia. Every second child in South Ossetia attends a dance club opened on the basis of general education schools, in kindergartens, at the Palace of the House of Children's Art and at the University of South Ossetia. Whether it's a tribute to fashion or the call of blood, or maybe both, but a generation of professional dancers is coming. Such confidence is expressed by Alina Abaeva, a talented dancer, aspiring journalist and just an activist of South Ossetian State University.

Student of the South Ossetian University Alina Abaeva has been studying Ossetian dances since she was six years old. The first teacher of the girl was the Honored Artist of the Republic of South Ossetia and the Republic of Armenia Maya Chetion. In addition to the perfection of movements, the teacher instilled in Alina a love for dancing for many years. Alina is studying to be a journalist, but dancing, as before, takes first place in her life. The girl dances in the student ensemble "Sarmat".

"I can't imagine my life without Ossetian dances. Every time I dance "Simd" or see how others dance this majestic dance, I am convinced that this is truly a dance of the gods. Our ancestors managed to reflect in it the temperament, way of life, traditions, character, respect of a man for a woman and modesty of the weaker sex," says the soloist of the dance ensemble.

Alina is sure that dance, both in past centuries and in modern Ossetia, remains the main national tradition. After all, in her opinion, forgotten traditions lead to the shrinking of the nation.

"Performing Ossetian dances in front of representatives of other nations, I am overwhelmed with pride for our culture. Our dances and ornaments on costumes carry a sacred meaning," the girl believes.

In the university ensemble "Sarmat" under the direction of Atsamaz Tedeev, dancers often take part in various competitions and events held in South Ossetia and abroad. And here it is important, wherever you perform - at a wedding or on stage - each element in the dance requires competent performance and clarity of movement. And every dancer tries to give his best.

Alina is a modern girl, she likes hip-hop, break-dance, and other dances, but she is a supporter of the fact that even amateurs should not distort the national dance. It is quite accessible to every Ossetian to master their national dances.
"It happens that many do not know how to dance the Ossetian dance and begin to improvise. Movements from Arabic or Indian dances are dragged into the dance - and a pun is obtained. These uncomplicated movements for one of the dancers are already repeated by the entire crowd at the same wedding or in a restaurant And this is such an imperceptible erasing of boundaries in culture, "says Alina.

To overcome embarrassment, it has become fashionable in Tskhinval to attend national dance clubs, even among the adult generation. In the 90s, there was no time for dancing. Therefore, many catch up and learn to dance competently. When asked why they should do this, the majority answers: "So as not to disgrace themselves at the wedding."

Alina says that while not everyone among her peers is a professional dancer, there is a craze for dancing among younger children.

"This is good news. All cultures are good, but one's own culture must be preserved," the girl is sure.

In addition to dancing, Alina tries herself in journalism. The girl writes articles for the university newspaper and tries out as a correspondent for student television programs. Part of her reporting is devoted to national dances. She is sure that, judging by the crowded children's dance clubs, a generation of professional dancers is growing in South Ossetia.

"Altaiskaya Pravda" spoke about Alina Bushueva, head of dance groups of Altai State University - News

August 12, 2020 Department of Information and Media Communications

The regional newspaper "Altaiskaya Pravda" covered an article by a graduate of the Law Institute of Altai State University Alina Bushuyeva .

Alina Bushueva is from Barnaul. This year she received a bachelor's degree from the Law Institute of Altai State University. At the university, she is known not only as a responsible student, but also as a perky and easy-going girl. She leads several dance groups of AltSU. During the period of self-isolation, several thousand people joined the online sports classes that the activist conducted on Instagram!

From the 1st grade, the girl has been dancing. Alina says:

She studied at the Barnaul secondary school No. 127. At the same time, she was part of the exemplary contemporary dance group "Soul". When I entered the university, I realized that I couldn’t live without creativity.”

Today Alina is the choreographer of the university group "Amy-DENS" and the dance group of the Law Institute of AltSU "Belle". Girls perform at city and regional events. In the League of University Students, Alina leads a section on stretching and modern dance. In addition, she works at the Promotion dance school.

Student life is a great time to feel your youth as much as possible, to be filled with energy. I especially like to dance after a hard day at school, it distracts me from many thoughts and shakes me up. I prefer dynamic styles such as dancehall, vogue, contemporary. I teach the same styles to girls,” the interlocutor clarifies.

Last year she got a good practice at the international festival "Tavrida-ART" in the Crimea. There were many alumni of the famous television show "Dancing" on TNT.

I was at master classes with everyone, I felt that I was dancing! We were also taught by Americans and Australians. Everyone has their own technique, presentation, idea. All this develops the personality,” emphasized Alina Bushueva.

During the pandemic, the girl met with her teams online. Alina also became a member of a sports university project. On the basis of the Center for Creativity and Leisure for Students and Employees of Altai State University, an unusual project "Creativity at a distance" was organized.

The bottom line is this: every day from April 7 to May 17, activists exercised on online platforms. 39 people trained those who wished. Including two classes I conducted. The daily coverage of students and teachers was colossal - up to 5 thousand,” says Alina.

She herself was also happy to be a student at master classes in acting, stage speech. It is convenient that the records are saved and can be reviewed. If a person did not have time to join the live broadcast, say, on Instagram.

Nevertheless, the heroine admits that during self-isolation, there was a lack of live human communication, contact with teachers. The girl took the state exam online and defended her thesis. There was a fear to take off from the Network. But everything went well.

The format of online education has shown how important it is to engage in self-development. I am glad that during self-isolation, many training courses that were previously paid became available to everyone.
