Ru finds out how a man should move in order to awaken the most daring desires in women.
British scientists... no, this time it's really British, no kidding, from Northumbria University (Northumbria University) finally did something useful and carried out a massive research study on what a woman notices when she watches a man dance and how it makes her feel.
In order not to distract the ladies with the appearance of a man, what he is wearing, how he is cut, how he smells and how he looks at her (of course, British scientists have separate scientific studies about all this), the experimental men were forced to dance for hours to the same music, having previously dressed in special costumes that were used during the filming of the film "Avatar". The clothes stitched with sensors caught all male movements, thanks to which a 3D model of a dancer without taste, without color, without smell was subsequently created. All facial features and features of the figure were erased.
There is only one solid body left.
The clip of these dubious dances was then shown to women of various ages, incomes, and beliefs, as well as to a control group of women who were not told at all what the purpose of the study was. In general, the only thing the ladies had in common was gender and traditional sexual orientation.
And what turned out? It turns out that the vast majority of ladies react at the sight of men's dances to exactly the same thing. Exactly the same movements women find sexually attractive or repulsive. The topic of the study, and in fact it, of course, sounds like this: “How to behave so that women want to have sex with you”, for obvious reasons, turned out to be so important that several more elite universities joined the scientific search for an answer to this question, including Columbia University in the USA.
So, this is what the scientists found out:
1. Women love it when a man wiggles his hips, spreading them wider
with which the man is dancing. The faster the better. Moreover, the speed of the melody does not matter
4. Women like sudden movements. They associate them with passion
5. Women like smooth movements less
For some reason, they especially pay attention to how the right male knee moves. For special satisfaction, the knee should move quickly
7. And the knees should be bent almost all the time

"Star Ball" traditionally consists of several well-balanced blocks. Finalists of the World Cup in the Latin American program, masters of Argentine tango, Pro-Am dancers, special guests come to the floor with their shows. A bit of competition drive is brought into the atmosphere of the evening by nine dance duets, which the day before did not cross the final line.
As part of the Star Ball, they dance their variations in a more relaxed mode.
The Star Ball program, as usual, is extremely extensive. There is a place here for Shakespeare's drama "Othello", and for solo song numbers, and for the puppet theater performed by the winners of the "Gazprom" dance festival, "Fakel".
The latter, by the way, was very impressed with the musical and ideological thoughtfulness of the number, which gave rise to a considerable number of literary and dance associations (it is enough to recall the number of Mirko and Edita "Doll"). It remains a mystery who is the mysterious puppeteer who controlled the figures of the dancers. And then, do the puppets still know how to dance on their own, without the Puppeteer? Well, and, perhaps, the main question. How do Gazprom employees have time to stage such worthy dance compositions?
But, of course, the main semantic accents of the evening were shifted towards the leading duets in the Latin American program.
So, Stefano di Filippo and Daria Chesnokova from their first steps on the floor immediately declared that they really are a hot duet. Catchy costumes, bright colors, a little striptease... Stefano and Daria are real batteries who are always ready to share their solar energy with the audience. This is probably why, perhaps, their best dance at the Star Ball is the samba, plastic and rich in various rhythmic transitions.
But the international duet Manuel Favilla and Natalia Maydyuk prefers a romantic role this evening. Manuel and Natalia are the couple who look really happy on the floor.
Compositions of different character are performed at the Star Ball Justinas Duknauskas and Anna Melnikova-Duknauske . The use of acrobatic stunts, swiftness of movement: the interest of this couple in the show program does not weaken ...
Winners of the silver awards of the World Cup Maurizio Vescovo and Andra Vaidilaite , on the contrary, even in the individual program, are more focused on the competitive dance.
Their numbers simply breathe strength and energy. In their shows, the duet manages to demonstrate their best qualities: confidence, charm, expressiveness and that spontaneity that will always attract the public to them. Their flagship number is perhaps a "tourist jive" (quoted by Stanislav Popov), which they perform in a friendly company ... with a suitcase.
Andriy Skuftsa and Melinda Torokgyorgy try their hand at the parquet in the show program. In the rumba “No look, no touch”, Andrey and Melinda appear in the form of a Knight and a Beautiful Lady. The lyricism of the composition is well played with choreography, music, light. Involuntarily I even remember Blok's:

A completely different, modern character is chosen by the duet in samba: we have already seen numbers in a similar style performed by Michael and Joanna. However, Melinda and Andrey set their own musical accents, demonstrating not only precise lines, but also miracles of balance. Does not leave the audience indifferent and their gothic-gloomy, magical paso doble, with which they complete their exit in the Kremlin.
Looking forward to Michal Malitowski and Joanna Leunis . And the couple did not deceive expectations, appearing at the end of the second part. As always, Michael and Joanna managed to completely fill the hall with their energy. Simply cosmic "Toxic swing", original rhythmic interpretations in cha-cha-cha, energetic, bodily samba with the use of acrobatic tricks and small plasticity: this couple remains true to their signature style in the show...
As always, original and unusual numbers surprise the Kremlin and Max Kozhevnikov and Anastasia Grigorieva .
Perhaps the most organic and emotionally rich of them is the show “There is no me”, staged under the song of the same name by Sivara. Perfectly selected music, snow-white costumes, spectacular choreography make the audience experience catharsis, this composition is received very warmly.
Maxim and Anastasia is a duet that continues its search in other dance directions, gravitating towards theatricality and not wanting to be limited to ballroom choreography. It is not surprising that another of their premiere compositions “They beat us, we fly” causes a lot of controversy.
The theme of this show is a protest against all kinds of violence. However, the implementation of this, no doubt, multifaceted metaphor turned out to be quite literal. Perhaps that is why Maxim also added a verbal message to the choreographic drawing: “People, stop the violence! Stop violence in this world! Mom, I don't want to die!"
Well, the last number of Maxim and Anastasia is already filled with completely different emotions and immerses the audience into the atmosphere of the film "Dirty Dancing" with Patrick Swayze.
It was a pleasant final chord, after which the couple received a memorable gift from the organizers - a huge polar bear toy.
This year, the Star Ball again demonstrates a full palette of dance shades. One of the most touching moments of the gala show is the performance by Eldar Jafarov and Anna Sazhina in memory of the Kursk submarine, performed to the poignant and very talented music of the young composer Artyom Savchenko. The motive of the inevitable force of fate is also heard in the final performance of the perfect Victor da Silva and Hanna Kaartunen , who once again performed their new composition “A little slower, horses” in the Kremlin.
But not only the dance numbers were the content of the Star Ball. There were congratulations to the anniversary "World Cup", recalled the history of the competitive dance. Alexander Moshkov and Oleg Kudinov, Karl Breuer and Vadim Elizarov, Elena Elange gave gifts and spoke warm words.
It is worth noting that another extremely significant event happened at the Star Ball 2014.
