Artistic director Svetlova tries to convey her unique gift to the team. An official of the Ministry of Culture says that whoever wins the competition will go on tour to Spain.
Varya, a girl from the provinces, dreams of dancing in Beryozka, "she has been doing amateur performances all her life." On the train, Varya meets Alexei, he turns out to be the soloist of Berezka. Edita, a girl from the Baltic states, says that she is the daughter of wealthy parents, that her father is a military professor. Edita looks down on Varya.
Varya finds out that it was necessary to sign up for the viewing in advance, she is not on the lists. Aleksey helps Varya to go to the screening. Members of the commission laugh at Varya's amateur performance, although Svetlova understands that there is something in this girl.
Varya gets a job as a cleaner in Beryozka. Lena and Edita went through a tough selection.
Lena invited the girls to her house, her mother is against such guests. On the contrary, Lenin's dad is glad, he likes Edita.
Lena, against the will of her mother, decides to live in a hostel. Varya was placed in the room where Lena and Edita live. Varya and Edita constantly quarrel. Varya dances in the street at night, her passport is in the personnel department, Varya is taken to the police. The director of Beryozka and Volodya go to rescue Varya. Due to Varya's oversight, Alexei's girlfriend Katya sprained her leg. Katya and Edita are trying to turn the team against Varya.
Varya made friends with the dresser Larisa, she gives the dresser some ideas.
Svetlova is on the verge, she wants to stage something new, unusual.
Varya calls from the director's office, the director is going to fire her. Alexey intercedes. Volodya exposes Katya, who just slipped. Svetlova, having arranged a test for Katya, says that she should ask Varya for forgiveness. Edita begs to visit Lena's parents, Lena's father goes to see them off and invites them to the hippodrome. Svetlova calls Anatoly and they rescue Varya.
The mother tells Lena that her father has a mistress, the large red shoes have disappeared. Lena sees Edita's shoes and gets very upset.
Varya sews a shirt for Alexei and tells him to stop their training.
Alexei tells Svetlova that he wants to break up with Katya because of Varya, Svetlova is against it. Aleksey agrees that Varya is taken to the main team. Varya, calming Lena, is late for Svetlova and cannot tell the reason.
Series 5-6
Varya is going home, saying that she overestimated her strength. The father calms Varya, the sister invites her to return to her previous job.
Lena decided to quit everything, does not want to return home, Volodya offers her to live with him.
Volodya goes to Lena's mother to warn her, her mother is aggressive, but Lena does not give up.
Lena's mother gives Edita money to keep her out of their family. Alexey goes for Varya, admits that Svetlova is his mother. Edita is put as Katya's understudy, she tells Katya that Alexei went to Varya, Katya made a scandal, she has a nervous breakdown. The reporting concert is on the nose, Alexei confesses to his mother that he is in love with Varya.
Alexey apologizes to Katya and says that he cannot live without Varya. Svetlova returns Varya and pairs her with Alexei. By the decision of the commission, Beryozka was removed from the competition, Svetlova fights and wins. Varya goes to Lena and asks her to return to Berezka.
Varya is officially accepted into Beryozka, Alexey proposes to her. Varya asks to wait. Alexei quarrels with his mother and leaves for the Evseev ensemble.
Lena tells Volodya that she wants to marry him, they marry in secret from their parents. Mironov goes with Berezka to Paris, begins to look after Katya, asks for help with shopping. After the concert, the girls go to the Moulin Rouge. Varya and Volodya arranged a holiday for Lena.
Father offers Lena and Volodya to move in with them. Alexei does not develop relationships in the new team. Alexei has been sending flowers incognito to Varya for two years, and finally they meet.
Series 7-8
Mironov proposes to replace Svetlova.
Svetlova tells her son about his father, they met at a youth festival, were together for three days, then he sent her an invitation to enter the United States, but she was banned. Alexey thinks that his mother deprived him of a lot. Anatoly advises Alexei to make peace with his mother.
Mironov announces that Svetlova has been suspended, Jan Cook has been appointed in her place. The team is against, Varya refuses to rehearse. Cook tells Svetlova that he wants to create something new. Jan tells Edita that he can't work together. Lena's father invited the young to the dacha, the mother does not like that Volodya works as a taxi driver.
Alexei returned to Berezka. Posted lists of those who will go to the US, Varya among them. Ian is rehearsing breakdancing. Varya is worried about Svetlova's condition.
For the sake of the tour, Edita invites Jan to a restaurant and seduces him. Varya and Katya go to Mironov, Varya asks to return Svetlova. Svetlova is not going to adapt.
Volodya is against Lena taking money from her father.
Varia's words about Svetlova were misrepresented in the central newspaper. The whole team is outraged, Svetlova asks not to pay attention. Edita is pregnant, Jan offers to have an abortion, Edita wants to dance on tour instead of Katya.
Series 9-10
Svetlova leaves the run of the new dance. The management praises Cook, they say: "bright, energetic", the team is ready for tour to America. The girls themselves are unhappy, they tell Svetlova that this dance is definitely not Beryozka. Cook appoints Edita instead of Katya, puts Lena in the backup team. Volodya tries to calm Lena and uses Varya as an example. Lena is jealous. Katya tells Mironov that Cook is ruining the team, Alexei and Varya say the same thing to Svetlova. She says that sooner or later everything will fall into place. Mironov demands that Katya be returned as a soloist. Volodya gets drunk and sings praises to Varya, Lena gets jealous and leaves the wedding. Volodya, finding Lena with a suitcase, declares his love to her, Lena remains. Katya announces her decision to give way to Varya as a soloist. Mark finds out that Edita is pregnant, goes to her and finds Jan there. The guys are fighting. Edita says that she is pregnant by Jan. Mark hit Edita in the stomach, she loses the baby. Mark's father says that drugs were found in his son and tries to give Edita money for false testimony, Edita refuses the money. Varya buys gifts for her relatives and dreams of returning to her homeland as soon as possible. Alexey says that he is going for a gift for his mother. Two years have passed. Varya has a son from Alexei, Volodya arrives, Seryozha calls Volodya dad. Volodya finds a good doctor for Varya, who has an appointment two months in advance, but he tries to meet.
Mark visits Edita at work and offers a deal. Katya misses Beryozka, her homeland, but she says that she has nowhere to return, she burned all the bridges. Lena finally got pregnant. Volodya takes Varya to the surgeon, who says an urgent operation is needed. Anatoly finds Svetlova in the village and stays. Katya arrives and understands that everything has changed in Beryozka, there is not even a word from Svetlova. Edita asks her to become a choreographer.
Lena tells her mother that she is pregnant, she is going to tell her husband, but she sees Volodya babysitting Varya's son, thinks that this is Volodin's son and decides to have an abortion.
The doctor comes to Varya's house and gives a fixative, father and sister understand that he is in love with Varya. Anatoly tells Svetlova that she has a grandson. Edita is taking the new girls to a restaurant to perform. Varya had an operation, she trains her leg intensively. The doctor invites her to rehab and proposes. Edita, Mironov and Mark exchange glass for diamonds.
Series 15-16
Svetlova comes to Berezka, wants to talk to Larisa and Katya, asks where Varya is. She thanks Edita for making it possible for the team to survive and wants to return. Edith refuses. Svetlova agrees to marry Anatoly. Volodya comes to Varya drunk and declares his love for her, but Varya cannot forget Alexei. Lena teaches children to dance. The girl Marina really likes the new teacher, she introduces Lena to her father, it turns out to be Boris Evseev. Varya agrees to leave with the doctor, Volodya sees them off. Serezha says that he wants to go back, Varya returns. Volodya invites Varya to dance, she stops limping. Mark asks Edita to introduce him to girls for dollars. Mironov tells Edita that their dresses with diamonds were detained at customs. Edita thinks that this is Mark's work and decides to close the case through the bed, Arkady finds Edita with Mark. Felice and Victor live in an orphanage. She dreams of becoming a dancer, he is an inventor. They are trying to escape from the orphanage. This uses the wings that Victor made while studying chickens. Felice is dating Victor. Both lie recklessly about their successes. Victor claims that he got a job in the workshop of Gustave Eiffel, who is building his tower in Paris at the same time. Odette sees Felice in the theater. She admits that she took the place of Camille, asks for forgiveness, is going to confess everything. But Odette begins to train her. They get up early in the morning, and in the courtyard of their house, Felice joins the secrets of ballet mastery.

Felice is exposed. Regina demands from Meranth that he banish the impostor. He admits Camilla to classes, but leaves Felice in his class. If Regina fires Odette, Camille will be kicked out of class. Felice and Merant watch as Odette sweeps the stage. Merant says: "She sweeps as she dances." To Felice's question, he replies that Odette was once the best ballerina, but one day there was a fire in the theater.
Odette discusses with Felice her chances of winning the contest with Camille. She is very strong technically, so you should not compete with her in this. Felice has too weak muscles. During the dance, Feliz, not getting enough sleep, falls several times. Merant makes a decision: Camilla will dance in the performance.
A vengeful Regina sends Felice to an orphanage and fires Odette.
Felice continues to train at the shelter. She decides to run again. An orphanage attendant takes her to Paris on a motorcycle. In the theater, Felice meets Odette: Merant gave her a room in the attic. Felice asks her forgiveness, starts helping her again. Odette and Felice watch as Merant reproaches Camille for being cold at rehearsal. Odette says that at the premiere everyone will understand that Camille is not suitable for playing the part in The Nutcracker. Camille and Felice meet on stage, exchange sharp phrases and decide to sort things out in a dance. The competition of two ballerinas begins. One of the students sees this and calls everyone to look at Felice and Camilla. Camille pushes Felice, but she keeps her balance and makes a "crazy jump" over the stairs. Merant asks the girls why they dance? Camilla admits that she does this at the insistence of her mother. And for Felice, dancing is her whole life. Merant makes a decision: Felice will dance at the premiere, while Camille can remain in the corps de ballet.
Felice goes to Viktor, tells him the good news and invites his friend to the premiere. Regina bursts into the workshop. She stuns Victor and, armed with a heavy hammer, chases Felice. Fleeing from an angry fury, the girl climbs onto the head of the Statue of Liberty, which should be sent to America. Regina is chasing her. Felice saves Victor. He comes to his senses, puts on the wings he invented and flies to the aid of Felice. At the last moment, he carries the girl off the head of the statue. The premiere ends in triumph.

My daughter and I have already watched this cartoon several times. He captivates with his liveliness, brightness and, of course, the devotion of the heroine to her dream of becoming a ballerina. Scenes with dancing "drink" in one gulp. Very spectacular and dynamic. The legs start dancing on their own :) There are, of course, script flaws, but in general the impression of the cartoon is very good and bright.

This cartoon has changed my life for the better. Recently, this cartoon was staged for us on an extension, and since I do dance (not ballet), I immediately wanted to dance! Right in the classroom, I began to repeat the movements after them! I didn't dance for 3 months (for a family reason) and I was too lazy at home.
