description, trailers, content, interesting facts and much more about the series

Korea of the Joseon Dynasty. A young girl (Hong Ra-on) pretends to be a boy (Sa-nom). She acts as a consultant on love matters. Ra-he is talking to his next client. This is a man who serves in the house of a wealthy person. He tells Ra-on that he is in love with his master's daughter, and she does not even look in his direction. nine0013

Ra-on comes to the house where her client works. She sees a smartly dressed young woman coming out of the gate. The man sweeping the yard tries to talk to the lady, but she really does not pay the slightest attention to him.

Ra-on develops tactics to seduce an impregnable beauty. You must disappear for ten days. A woman is seized with curiosity when a man, who is always next to her, suddenly disappears somewhere.

Ten days pass. Customer Ra-on "accidentally" meets the object of his love. A large branch falls to the ground from a tree standing near the road. A man jumps, knocks a woman to the ground, a branch falls nearby, without harming anyone. The frightened lady gives a slap in the face to her savior. He declares that he is ready to help her out of any trouble, to cover her body from any misfortune. A woman asks a lover: are you safe? She strokes his cheek and angrily asks: where have you been for ten whole days? Ra-on is watching this scene from a tree. In her hand she holds an ax with which she had just cut the branches of a tree. nine0013

Royal Palace. Crown Prince Lee Yong is in his chambers reading a frivolous romance novel. Courtiers knock on his door. They ask the prince to let them in immediately. Lee Yong is about to be visited by the king himself.

Lee Yong in full dress is sitting in the gazebo. There are scrolls in front of him. The prince's teachers were nearby. The king appears, accompanied by the prime minister (Kim-hon). The King questions Lee Yong about what he is currently studying. The prince sets out to the monarch the Confucian rules regarding court etiquette: what ceremonies the heir to the throne must observe. The king is pleased. But a gust of wind rips sheets of paper from the table, behind which Lee Yong is located. They fly through the air and land at Kim-hon's feet. He picks up paper, reads. A contemptuous smile appears on his face: the text of a love story has fallen into the minister's hands. Kim-hon hands a sheet of paper to the king. He looks over what was written, throws the paper on the ground, tramples it with his feet, becomes furious, calling the prince a brat. Lee Yong and his teacher unanimously ask the king for forgiveness. He, without saying a word, leaves the residence of the prince. The courtiers hurry after their master. nine0013

Ra-on comes home. She tries to wake her father, who does not want to get out of bed. Ra-on says that the old man should get up, eat and take medicine. The father tells Ra-on that he will not do this: anyway, my life is over, I will not be able to pay our debts. And you can hide from our creditors, because you live under a false name. Ra-on says he will not leave his father. He reminds the girl: you are not my own, I found you and raised you. And I will only be glad if you disappear and leave me alone with my fate. nine0013

Lee Yong takes off his court attire and puts on the clothes of an ordinary yangban (Korean nobleman): hankbok and a hat (kat) adorned with jade beads (katkgeun).

Lee Yong is heading to the city. In the market square, he watches a street theater performance. The main roles here are played by Ra-on and her father. Ra-on portrays the prince, while the father plays the role of the king. They swear, the monarch calls the heir to the throne a brat, they give each other slaps in the face, showered with curses. The public is laughing. Lee Yong bursts into an angry invective and leaves the square. nine0013

Another client asks Ra-on to write a letter to a woman he is passionately in love with. Ra-on asks the man what feelings he has for this lady: after all, I will write on your behalf.

The lady-in-waiting of Princess Myung Eun, the prince's sister, brings him a letter that Ra-on wrote for her client. A man in love with Myung-un sets up a date with her. Lee Yong orders the lady-in-waiting to hide the fact of receiving the message from her mistress.

The client asks Ra-on to change into a yangban outfit and instead go on a date with the princess. Ra-on does not agree, but the lover promises to pay her a serious sum. nine0013

Flashback. Creditors dug a hole in the forest, filled it with sewage and hung Ra-on over it on a rope. The leader of the bandits informs the girl that if she does not settle accounts with him in the near future, he will burn her alive.

Ra-on changes clothes and goes on a date. However, instead of the princess, her brother appears at the rendezvous.
