An idea for this very game
So I have an idea for this game, I think you should add a feature so that we can use our phone cameras to dance. It works just like a PlayStation camera or a Kinect sensor, expect when you load your phone into the game you can choose to use your phones camera to dance. So basically it’s like when you go into a dance room you have two options: 1. Your phone (obviously) and 2. Your phone camera, now this is very simple. Your go ahead and let your phone camera access to jdn. Then, you go get into your phones camera and once you do that then it will verify your face and then take you to the main menu to choose your song. Then once you choose your song it says on your phone “Get into the camera!“ and then dance! It may not accurately get your moves based on your phone camera and phone version (like for example a very old iPhone and then a iPhone 12 or an iPod touch or sumthing) and then play! I think this may be a bit hard for coding and adding and stuff considering the fact that updates take so long sometimes and it could slow down the game servers but I think after a day or two it will get back together.

A Few Flaws
I’ve had this app for about a month now, and it’s honestly a lot of fun, especially from having to be stuck inside all day because of quarantine. It’s nice how the Just Dance franchise is sticking around by going mobile since the wii and other older gaming systems are going away. Everything on here is pretty good, updated songs, easy pairing access, just...the coin system. I agree with all these other reviews; the coin system is flawed. When you first join you start off with 200 complementary coins, but you can technically only do two rounds a day since all the dances are 100 coins each, and you have to wait 24 hours to regain 200 coins again. Also, why are all the songs the same price? Maybe make some songs 25 or 50 coins to add some price diversity? Also, it’s annoying how the coin limit is 200 and you can’t gain anything above that number, so when you spend all of them, it’s like the developers are basically forcing you to hand them your money and pay with a card to reload your coins faster, or just sit through the 24 hour wait time.
Overall, this app is great fun for all ages. It has a wide range of difficulty levels, which makes it more enjoyable. I’ve played tons of times with my family on the weekends and they enjoy it just as much as I do, but they also agree that the coin system should either be changed or cut off. But besides that, I recommend! Have fun dancing! 💃🕺
Disappointed
At first when I download this app it was so worthy I loved it I love dancing I had gotten many stars but you could only do 2 song when you first start and you have to wait for another 24 hours just for 100 coins and it don’t go higher than 200 and each song cost 100 coins to dance so two song only. I paid for this game a few times cause I love dancing I had fun even with my family and 2 days later the 2nd time I paid for it I couldn’t dance to it keeps telling me that my wifi isn’t connected which I refresh so many times and it still doesn’t work and I wasted that payment.
Now the 3rd time I paid for it which is very stupid it’s still the same nothing changed I deleted this app thinking if I reinstall it’ll work again but nope if you delete and reinstall it won’t let you get back to your old account which gets me more upset it will just start you all over to level 1 and the payment I made won’t expire until tomorrow and i’m very upset and disappointed the waste of my payment I made 2 times. I don’t write any reviews but this the first review i’m going to write because i’m starting to think all they want us to do is pay so they give us only 2 songs to dance too and when you pay it start off good then it gets messy before your payment gets expire so be very alert before you start buying it. FYI I deleted this game cause I got very disappointed I couldn’t get my old account back and what’s the point of starting all over again at lv1?

This is a good and amazing app to do with our family and friends and we always love to play this games with friends and family and every time we play this game our family and friends always cheer us up with it.
We are kinda mad because when we get 100 coins you can just do one song and if we get every move right it still doesnt give us any coins and when we do a song on Monday we have to wait til Tuesday at 4 p.m.
Us and our sister Play it all the time.
You should make it so that we win coins for dancing 100 for each star.

We hope apple watch can be the sensors!
We used to love this game, but when we upgraded from an iPhone X to iPhone 14 Pro we can no longer connect to the server. When we start a dance from our iPhone 14, it stays on the hold your phone in your right hand and follow this coach during the dance screen.
We have been using just dance now since the 2018 menu style and the app has been working fine up until July 27.
The app refuses to load anything and when a song is selected the game screen will play the song and the video but on our phone it will stay on the loading screen.
Cons: we just got this game and we had got in, we danced to TWO SONGS before we found out you need coins to play more songs, normally this wouldnt bother us but it takes 24 hours to regain coins for two more songs. And just to add insult to injury, you need to upgrade to VIP for more coins! Which costs REAL MONEY! This is ridiculous! We see reviews dating back two years for this same issue. Please keep your promises and fix it. Pros: its good for PE, parties, and boredom. We would recommend it to people, but then theyd be robbed of money just because of a stupid dance game.
In ios 16, it supports joycon. In this game, why not support its movement function? So we can play this game with our joycon.
We’ve been playing just dance now since it came out and we havent had a problem with it until the style changes to the 2019-2022 style.
Nothing would load but when it will all the album covers are on the wrong song and where we go to play a song Im stuck on the loading screen and when we exit we just waste 100 coins and we couldnt even do anything.
We like the game its OK its just that you have to wait one day just to get 100 points just by one day when you first thing in the game you get 200 ways to play two dances because to play one dance it causes 100 points and thats annoying.
We love this game its so fun but a few times it took away our coins and we havent danced like once it said we have 100 and will receive more in 30 minutes so we checked an hour later instead of 200 it said 100 and Ill get more tomorrow we love it it exercises us but we dont like some of the glitches.
Its fine at first, you get a free vip trial but dont get access too all the catalog, or Atleast we didnt, but after that you can only play two songs every other day. 24 hours to regen 100 coins, 100 coins per song.
And with it being laggy we see no point. It also caps at 200 so you cant just wait it out to get enough to have more than 10 minutes of fun. Dont even bother.
This game doesnt work you have to have a scanning code.
So we bought this on our iPad but for a weird reason its only supposed to be for a smart phone like why? Just a smart phone to dance!? Like its not playable on iPad !? Oh our gosh you not buy this on iPad or youre not able to dance just buy it on whatever consul you have.
Unfortunately the iPhone will not connect to the dance room on the iPad or on the Apple TV. Every time we try to enter the room we get a message saying This dance room does not exist. The irony is that our Android device connects to the dance room on both the iPad and the Apple with no issues we have already contacted Ubisoft technical support but their solutions did not help the situation.
UPDATE TO MY REVIEW: If youre not going to censor the language, please label songs with a language warning.
We played Rave In The Grave for our two year old, only for them to be cussing all throughout the song. We blindly expected songs to be censored because they usually have been. But if thats not something youre doing anymore then please give us a heads up. Theres no way to know otherwise. – – – – – – – – – – Dont get us wrong we absolutely love this app. Its been a source of fitness for us as someone who prefers dance for exercise for years now. We love the library of songs, the visuals, the choreography, the family appropriate vibes-its all stellar. But this UI is just much to be desired. Especially now that there is an Apple TV app and an Apple Watch. The newest phone update is much improved for sure, but its just a complicated system. Honest to goodness, we wish the Join/Dance Room feature was just gone personally. But we also get playing with other players, its fun! But at the very least, a Solo Play feature would more than suffice for someone like us. Quite honestly, Im shocked this has not been done as long as this app has existed.
We just wanna play the songs and do the dance, we dont really care about the scores or playing with others. We like the option, but we rarely care about playing with others and scores. Additionally, the Join Room feature wouldnt be a big deal if it wasnt so server dependent. Ill waste SOO much time just trying to connect to a room. Let the wi-fi be juuust weak enough that the wheel just spins and spins. ALL we wanna do is tap on a song and get going. Simple, easy, Im sweating and having fun. Not standing around staring at our phone. We stopped using our phone as a controller a long time, because we drop it, its clumsy, and we honestly want our hand free to do the choreography fully as its shown. Phone hinders that. We remember when the apple watch came out, we almost immediately thought this is gonna be a game-changer for Just Dance Now. But it hasnt. You cant use it at all. Even after all this time, Apple Watch hasnt been integrated. Maybe its because the watch is meant to be worn on the left wrist, and Just Dance favors the right hand? IdkIm not a developer so we certainly dont know how all that works, but still, its been quite a while and we just hoped the app would be further along functionally than this.
Regarding the Apple TV app: we spent maybe 20-30 minutes just trying to get it to work. It was so complicated. At first it just stalled with our phone app just spinning endlessly. Had to exit, shut down a few times, to get it to finally connect with the TV. Then despite the fact that our existing stats and history are transferred to the Apple TV (via iCloud/Game Center, we assume), our Favorites are not shown. Not to mention we couldnt make the phone work with the Apple TV at all. We tried playing songs from our Favorites list on our phone, and even though the two devices were connected, we just got a black screen on the TV and a spinning wheel on the phone. So we finally just tried to see if we could disconnect our phone and just use the TV. Fortunately, we were able to. But, because we had no Favorites list to access on the TV, we literally had to just reference our favorites list on the phone, then use the search feature on the Apple TV to find the songs we wanted to play. So very complicated and clumsy.
We should just be able to use the app and pair the phone (if we want) for the controller function. It almost seems like the Apple TV functions secondary to the phone and it should be the other way around. Fortunately, it can be used apart from the phone, so ultimately we were finally able to get in some exercise. Oh and we couldnt for the life of us figure out how to use our Apple TV remote as the controller. And we were too exhausted at that point to try and figure it out. We think the main theme here is, Simplify. Just simplify. All that being said, this is one of the most brilliant apps ever conceptualized. We love this game and will forever love this game. Highly recommended!
Tried playing the game. Started with 200 coins, lost connection, and ended up with nothing. Now we have to wait 24 hours just to play 1 song.

You have to spend money on the games its so trash this game should never be uploaded trust us it is the worst game ever we would rather read the dictionary.
When you start it gives you 200 coins each dance is 100 coins and there is a starter dance which is 100 and if you do one it is 100 coins. Every 24 hours you get 100 coins and Im not waiting that long.

This game has so much potential, this game didnt counted our stars we did new rules-dua lipa we had four or five stars and they didnt counted it. Hey Ubisoft, we have an issue.
First, we love the app, it is so fun, we play it everyday. But our problem is that every now and then, songs that we originally had, so far 2 of them have gotten removed. Those songs were Hangover(Ba ba ba) and the original version of Handclap. We dont why these songs are now removed. Can you please help us get these songs back? And could you please fix this app so that it stops removing songs? Thanks, Elijah Gates.
People think that scoring is hard so you have to flip the phone upside down to dance.
So far Im loving this game, we play everyday and its so fun, there is just a few things we have questions on. First thing is every song from previous Just Dances are going to be added on this app eventually? Also, we want to know how to unlock more songs, because usually we would unlock new songs every week, but this week that just passed, we havent gotten any new ones, and Im wondering why. So we want to know the answer to these 2 questions, so that we know? We hope the people over at Ubisoft could see this review and reply to it.

Does this app support Apple Watches?
Every time we try to play one song it doesn’t show on our phone. It just keeps on loading and the song would start, but our phone won’t.

Hello, Ubi! We’ve been playing this game for about a year now and now that the latest update is here, we were thrilled to play today! But for some reason, the video for the dance does not play not does the music. We’ve cleared our cached, uninstalled and reinstalled the app, and checked our network connection and nothing has seemed to work. Im assuming its a bug of the update so we hope you fix it soon. Id hate to be paying for a membership we cant use! Other than that, we love this game so much :)
It takes a long time to load the app for some reason its been a day since we tried is there a fix.

We think that you guys should add all the songs on to the app. It made us sad that we paid to be able to dance whenever we want but the game doesnt have all of the old songs that we grew to love. If Ubisoft plans on updating the app we think more of the old songs should be added!
It seems to have a problem with detecting slow movements. Like im we kissed a girl Stage Mode or Blinding Lights, its difficult to do the slow movements as they arent really detected. Honestly, if they added the ability to use a phone camera to detect your moments this game would be so revolutionary. Please, really consider adding it.

We really love the mobile option since we’ve been playing Just Dance when it was on consoles and it really helped us during our college years. We just wish that this app would be compatible with our Apple Watch so we could use that as our controller instead of waving our phone around.
We’ve been having a blast playing JDNow, however, its frustrating seeing songs getting removed out of nowhere. For example, whenever we play, we often do the song good 4 u. However, it got removed from the game for no apparent reason, and this is frustrating. When we paid for the VIP, we expected to be able to play songs that we see for the duration of the VIP, not for songs to get removed for no reason.
Wish it would add more recent r&b songs.

While EA Sports is churning out sports sims, Ubisoft continues to re-release console-based digital house party attraction Just Dance.
The new version of the rhythm game turned out to be bright, dynamic and really exciting... that is, absolutely the same as the previous part of the series. We explain why you should think carefully before buying Just Dance 2021.
The Just Dance series started back in 2009 and has attracted a huge audience even outside of arcade clubs and Dance Dance Revolution. The main reason for the success of the franchise was the simplicity of the gameplay, which the name itself hints at - “Just Dance”, which everyone can handle in one way or another. In general, everything is so, but it’s still worth explaining what the game is.
Dancing is my element
As you might guess, the essence of Just Dance is dancing, or rather, trying to repeat the most diverse steps behind the dancers on the screen. The system tracks movements using a camera or device in the player's hand and awards points for accuracy. The gameplay formula is extremely simple, but it is quite addictive if you find the right tracks, the company and the strength to get up from the couch.
You can use an ordinary smartphone with a gyroscope as a "gamepad" in Just Dance - no additional accessories are required here, although the developers could have gone this way. Of course, in this case, in order to get high marks in the game, it is enough just to move one hand, but in the process, you still involuntarily begin to dance with the rest of the body.
Just Dance looks especially organic on the Nintendo Switch, which seems to have been created for home entertainment in a small company. With this console, you don’t even need a smartphone to play - basic Joy-Cons will be enough. In addition to the precise gyroscope, these controllers are equipped with special straps: believe me, even if your palms never sweat, launching a gamepad or smartphone directly into the TV while dancing is very, very simple.
With its overall uncomplicated gameplay and great combination of music, games, and light activity, Just Dance is suitable for just about everyone. In addition to the standard mode, there is a fitness interface that counts calories burned instead of points for accurate dance performance, as well as a children's section with simple movements, cartoon style and cartoon songs.
This series does not need more - it would seem.
Only dancing and you
All of the above applies to Just Dance 2021, which is great. The series has been consistently entertaining high-profile companies for more than ten years, making those who want to lose weight effortlessly sweat and trying to diversify E3 with mass dances. But there is one problem, or rather, there are already at least three of them - starting from version 2019The franchise hasn't changed much in years.
It is clear that dancing in a playful way, and even with the slogan “Just dance”, is difficult to diversify, but even a new interface would be very useful. I was extremely disappointed when I redeemed my Ubisoft key, loaded the game, skipped the colorful splash screen, and returned to Just Dance 2019.
The only interesting new feature is the Quick Play feature available on the main screen of the game. Thanks to her, you can not delve into a huge library of songs and playlists, but simply dance to a randomly selected song, but this works until the first inappropriate track.
It would be great if the game immediately offered options from five different selections and did not rush the user with a ten-second countdown.
In this regard, the comparison with EA Sports simulators is the most accurate. Year after year, Just Dance fans get the same game - FIFA fans at least try to improve the physics of the ball and give digital football players a human look. But Just Dance could well have simple rhythm games in the Mario Party format, a Dance Dance Revolution-style mode with a special carpet as an additional accessory, or even creative modes with the ability to independently select movements, at least for children's songs. There are a lot of options, use Ubisoft.
And the music drives you crazy
As a result, when buying Just Dance 2021, owners of at least one previous game in the series pay ₽3,990 for 40 new songs and a month of Unlimited subscription, which gives access to an expanded music library. Given that the same amount can pay for more than two years of subscription in the previous version of Just Dance, the offer is at least not very profitable.
Unless someone urgently needed a couple of songs by Billy Eilish, BLACKPINK or The Weeknd right here and now.
Just Dance 2021's list of basic tracks does have some popular songs, but in most cases they either sound too monotonous or not suitable for dancing at all - at least not in the format of the game. For example, in this part of the series there are two versions of Without Me by Eminem at once, but in both cases you want to listen more than dance.
I'm not the biggest fan of dancing, so I was helped to test Just Dance 2021 by a small company, the female half of which knows almost the entire Ultimate library by heart. Even for them, there were only a few interesting options in the new selection of tracks - let alone the male part: we quickly became disillusioned with dancing to Eminem and returned to the cult Dragostea Din Tei from O-Zone, The Bremen Town Musicians and The Sun in Hands.
Going back to the FIFA parallel, Just Dance 2020 just had a little roster update.
At the same time, Ubisoft updates the Ultimate library quite often, including tracks from the latest installments. Under such conditions, the entire series should have switched to a shareware model with a subscription a long time ago, because the new annual versions make less and less sense.
No more parties
It's quite possible that Just Dance is heading towards the game-service format. It currently has three free tracks that are technically an Ultimate subscription. By the way, recently they included a new song from the virtual band K/DA from League of Legends. Ubisoft could expand this collection to the same 40 songs, and give the rest only for money.
In such a system, Ultimate could become a kind of Xbox Game Pass with constant track rotations. If you add to this the ability to buy tracks individually or in whole sets, Ubisoft would certainly get even more than from annual re-releases. Just imagine how much circulation an add-on with a dozen BTS songs would sell - it becomes scary.
