In 2017, one of the brightest and most productive RTS couples made a mutual decision to end their joint career and find new partners. For 6 years of co-creation, talented dancers managed to become the absolute champions of a number of major Latin tournaments: gold medalists of the RTS among adults, vice-champions of Europe WDC AL, as well as silver and bronze medalists of the Rising Star competition in Blackpool and the UK Open.
Among other things, the couple has achieved the prestigious Young Dancers of the Year Awards. The dancers expressed their gratitude to each other and the coaches for the fruitful work and years of cooperation.
Khisamutdinov's next partner was Karina Yusupova, with whom Ruslan made his debut at the Kremlin Cup in 2018. The newly formed tandem took 4th place, leaving behind compatriots Nikita Pavlov and Ekaterina Sharanova.
The next season Karina and Ruslan pleased their fans with incendiary samba at the International Dance Championship, and then at the German Open Dance Festival held in Mannheim, they reached the final and were 7th in the ranking.
