Dancing with the Stars 2022 LIVE — Fans fuming over judges tie-breaker votes after Halloween Night elimination

FANS are fuming over the fact that recording artist Jordin Sparks and her partner Brandon Armstrong were eliminated from Dancing with the Stars last night after judges were divided on their votes.

During last night's Halloween episode, Jordin and Heidi D'Amelio were in the bottom two based on the judges' ratings and audience votes.

Jordin and her partner Brandon were chosen to be saved by Carrie Ann Inaba and Derek Hough.

Meanwhile, Heidi and Artem Chigvintsev were saved by Bruno Tonioli and Len Goodman. Due to the judges' divided votes, Heidi was safe thanks to Goodman's vote.

Numerous fans flocked to the internet to voice their opinions after learning that Jordin was eliminated, with one saying on Reddit: "Not fair at all. That head judge tie-breaker BS needs to go as of now!!! If there’s a tie then the VIEWERS VOTES need to break it. Hell, they harp so much on us voting but ain’t using it to help."

DWTS returns next Monday at 8pm on Disney+ with a special 90s-themed episode.

Drag Queen Shangela– dancing with her pro partner Gleb Savchenko– pulled the fried chicken from her gown and presented it to everyone after her performance.

“Tyra flubs all her lines and names anyway, she may as well go ahead and eat chicken while trying to talk now, too,” one viewer said at the time.

A new season of the show "Dancing with the Stars" started on "Russia 1"

January 17, 2022 10:48

Dmitry Kharatyan intends to go all the way, Alexandra Revenko promises to do the splits, and Olga Medynich has agreed with her body: the new season of Dancing with the Stars has been aired.

A new season of the super show "Dancing with the Stars" has started on the TV channel "Russia 1". There are ten star participants on the main dance floor of the country: Maria Mironova, Dmitry Kharatyan, Marina Zudina, Valery Nikolaev, Olga Medynich, Alexandra Rebenok, Anatoly Bely, Alexandra Revenko, Vladimir Markoni and Vanya Dmitrienko, paired with professional dancers, winners of international competitions. The fate of the artists is decided by the viewers and the jury: Daria Zlatopolskaya, Nikolai Tsiskaridze, Yegor Druzhinin and Vladimir Varnava.

The first day of the competition opened with an incendiary quickstep by Dmitry Kharatyan and Ulyana Maksimkina, who immediately impressed Daria Zlatopolskaya: "Phenomenal musicality! For the first dance, it's just super!". Behind the scenes, Kharatyan said: “Apparently, due to seniority, they first threw me into the embrasure. Of course, we made mistakes, but I think this is normal for a start. We are not going to stop there!”

Dmitry Kharatyan and Ulyana Maksimkina

In her debut performance, Maria Mironova turned into a light feather, with which her partner Yevgeny Papunaishvili began to write a new, dancing chapter in the biography of the people's artist.

Maria Mironova and Evgeny Papunaishvili

Valery Nikolaev, who, by the way, already has a diploma from the American Dance University, together with Alexandra Akimova impressed the jury and the audience with their ardent jazz. The actor showed gorgeous biceps, which suffered during the dance from rhinestones on the partner's costume.

Valery Nikolaev and Alexandra Akimova

Marina Zudina and Maxim Petrov showed a delightful foxtrot, for which they received a whole bunch of compliments from the jury. The host of the show, Andrei Malakhov, immediately noticed how the couple enjoyed the dance, and Daria Zlatopolskaya recalled that Marina had been invited to the show for many years, but the actress agreed only now.

Marina Zudina and Maxim Petrov

The youngest participant of the show - musician Vanya Dmitrienko - and his partner Lyubina Kuznetsova presented a juicy jive.

Vanya Dmitrienko and Lyubina Kuznetsova

Then Olga Medynich and Ruslan Khisamutdinov set the dance floor on fire with hot samba. Choreographer Vladimir Varnava emphasized that the dance had changed Olga a lot: "You are now so a little modest, shy, and there was another person on the floor - very self-confident, energetic and just partly eating his partner!". The actress herself shared: “I agreed with my body today so as not to let my partner down and please the audience, and after rehearsals I just lay flat, all my muscles hurt. Fitness is kindergarten compared to one normal dance workout: once I stood in puddle of sweat after 15 minutes of training!".

Olga Medynich and Ruslan Khisamutdinov

Tango in red tones from Alexandra Revenko and Denis Tagintsev added passionate emotions. The actress admitted that she got an excellent teacher and partner: "Denis motivates me a lot. I think thanks to him I will be able to master the most difficult movements and I hope to sit on the splits by the final."

Alexandra Revenko and Denis Tagintsev

Vladimir Markoni and Evgeniya Tolstay, wearing original hashtag costumes, blew up the dance floor with a brilliant performance of cha-cha-cha. In this duet, Daria Zlatopolskaya immediately saw the "humorous core of the show."

Vladimir Marconi and Evgenia Tolstaya

The most unexpected number of the issue was the dress-up rumba performed by Alexandra Rebenok and Mikhail Shchepkin. The actress took the stage in the image of her heroine from the TV series "Abode" - security officer Galina, but in an instant she changed her strict gray suit for an elegant light green dress. The actress shared: “This is a completely new space for me, a new genre, some new energy, I didn’t know that I had it. I had never danced in my life, this topic was closed to me. that dance is not for me. At the age of five, I went to ballroom dancing, I had only two classes. With tears in my eyes, I rushed home and said that I would never go there again. I just came up with a beautiful story for myself: there are those who dance, and there are those who stand with a beautiful glass and caustically comment on everything that happens.

Alexandra Child and Mikhail Shchepkin

The last number of the new season of "Dancing with the Stars" was a sensual contempo performed by Anatoly Bely and Inna Svechnikova. The jury noted that the couple set the bar high from the very beginning, choosing one of the most difficult dance styles, but coped with it perfectly. The first edition of the show "Dancing with the Stars" ended with Andrey Malakhov's congratulations on his anniversary: on January 11, the popular presenter turned 50 years old.

Anatoly Bely and Inna Svechnikova

According to the results of the first edition, the standings of the "Dancing with the Stars" project were headed by: Anatoly Bely and Inna Svechnikova, Olga Medynich and Ruslan Khisamutdinov, Alexandra Rebenok and Mikhail Shchepkin. Two pairs close the list: Vladimir Markoni and Evgenia Tolstaya, Vanya Dmitrienko and Lyubina Kuznetsova.

Now the fate of the participants is in the hands of the viewers, who will vote for their favorites during the week. Send an SMS with the couple's number to the short number 9395.
