Types of Russian folk dances | Music class
The most ancient and rich form of art is dance. Russian folk dance is closely connected with the history of the Russian people, with their traditions, beliefs and customs. Russian folk dance reveals the spiritual life of our people and their way of life. Through dance people convey their feelings, thoughts and mood.
Russian folk dances are classified according to their stable features and choreographic structure. Based on the combination of these signs, it can be assumed to which type the dance belongs.
All types of Russian folk dances are divided into two categories: round dance and dance, and they, in turn, distinguish several more types.
Types of Russian folk dances: round dance
One of the most basic and ancient types of Russian folk dance. The circular composition of the round dance is similar to the sun, whose god, in the old days, was worshiped by the Slavs.
Dance, song and play are inextricably linked in a round dance. It gathers and unites a large number of participants. The round dance belongs to Russian everyday dances, it has its own forms and rules of performance. Usually, its participants hold hands, or a scarf, belt or wreath, and at the same time they jointly perform a round dance song.
Round dance is divided into two types - ornamental and playful.
Ornamental round dances.
A distinctive feature of the ornamental round dance is the movement of its participants to songs that do not have a pronounced plot, and which are just musical accompaniment.
Participants in such a round dance can move not only in a circle, but also in a snake, figure eight, column, use various transitions and rearrangements, while building beautiful and clear drawings, or, as they are also called, round dance figures.
The selected song for the ornamental round dance often reflects the images of Russian nature, the collective work of the people and their way of life.
Game round dances.
If the song contains actors, a specific action and a game plot, then its content is played out by the performers of the round dance with the help of gestures, facial expressions and dance, embodying various images and characters, songs. Such a dance is called a game.
Household items such as a scarf, wreath, ribbon, stool and many others are often used in game round dances. Drawings of game round dances are simpler than ornamental ones. Most often round dances move in a circle, in lines or in pairs.
Types of Russian folk dances: dance
Now the most common type of Russian folk dance is dance.
Russian dances include a round dance, game dances, impromptu dances and dances performed with a certain sequence of figures.
Each movement in the dance is not without meaning. Men's dances are distinguished by breadth, strength and scope, as well as attention to the partner. Women's dances are characterized by smoothness, sincerity and grace, as well as emotions and enthusiasm.

Single dance.

Pair dance.

Dance.

Mass dance.
There are no restrictions, neither in the number of participants nor in their age. Both two people can participate in a mass dance - one against the other, as well as threes and fours of participants dancing against each other. The main task in the mass dance is to dance better than the participant standing next to him. The performer has the right to dance with any participant in the dance, gradually moving from one to another.
Group dance.
In a group dance, the composition is limited to a separate group of performers, both large and small. Such dances have a certain construction. Group dances are very rich in drawings and figures, as well as in their content and plot.
Quadrille – another type of Russian folk dance
Quadrille differs from traditional dances by its peculiar construction and clear division into pairs and figures. The quadrille takes its roots from the French salon dance. The Russian quadrille included many figures and drawings from Russian round dances and dances. Only an even number of couples take part in the quadrille, but their number is not limited.
Often ditties are performed in quadrille, either by all performers at the same time, or in turn, passing the baton from one to another. In a quadrille, each figure is separated from one another, usually by musical pauses, footsteps, claps, or bows.

Turned the game into a 💩
Used to play this game… it was just space… no ads cool graphics, all levels are available…!!! And now... it's not clear how to open the levels.

2 years ago this game was just perfect. At least it was offline and without ads, all levels opened in order, there was nothing to complain about. Now it's just impossible to play. After that, advertising is turned on at every step, you can play only with the Internet (TO ADVERTISEMENTS WORK OF COURSE). For example, on an airplane, this game cannot be played. To pass the level, after each failure, you need to watch this terrible advertisement, which makes the passage of the level many times longer. Now this is not a game but just an application to get stress. I usually never write reviews, but this application (I don’t even want to call it a game) really upset me and pissed me off, I no longer want to play. I DO NOT RECOMMEND DOWNLOADING THIS IF ADVERTISING HAPPENS YOU
