"Gangnam Style" is fast becoming this decade's version of the "Macarena. "

It's a catchy song and you don't need much hand-eye coordination to do the dance.

"The mindset of this dance is to dress classy and dance cheesy," Psy (the man behind "Gangnam Style") told Ellen DeGeneres.

While some people watch the music video and become overwhelmed at Psy's impressive dance skills, it's really a simple routine to learn.

Psy's K-Pop hit, Gangnam Style has taken YouTube, and now the world by storm. Love or hate the song, there is just no way you'll watch the music video only once.

If you're anything like our interns here at WonderHowTo, you've been wanting to learn the Gangnam Style dance steps to impress (scare?) your friends. Unfortunately the shaky camera work makes it hard to follow along.

PSY Explains What Gangnam Style Is All About

During PSY's appearance on Vh2 Morning Buzz, he talked about his surprise to see how big Gangnam Style has become. He went on to contextualize the meaning behind the words, for people from the US.

Gangnam is specific area in Korea, like Beverly Hills in the US. So, it's basically about a guy who doesn't look like he's from Beverly Hills, but he just keeps talking about Beverly Hills and trying to act like he's from there. Gangnam Style, Korean artist Psy's crazy hit, became popular due to two factors - a catchy tune and the iconic "horse" dance that accompanies it. Follow the instructions on this page to learn how to dance "Gangnam Style" just like Psy.

- Keep loose and relaxed. You will not remain motionless for long.

Learn the steps. Start with your right foot. Raise it low just above the floor and return it in place, completing the movement with a small bounce while advancing backwards.
