"Alice" is the magic of miracles performed by dance virtuosos. Bigonzetti paints his characters with color and precision, while leaving plenty of room for the viewer's imagination.
A must-see for those who are ready to plunge into the magic of surreal images and associations.
In this crazy ballet, virtuosity is insanely important for Bigonzetti.
The choreographer is especially concerned about the key meaning of Alice's story: how disturbing and dangerous the world is, in which the usual laws are no longer valid.
Such is life. Nothing is known in advance. But we can learn a lot from Alice: even in a strange world of constant surprises and changes, she remains open, curious and eager to go further.
In Alice, Bigonzetti not only succeeded in creating a high-tech 3D Looking-Glass, but also, it seems, repealed the laws of physics. After all, otherwise it is simply impossible to realize the most complex ideas of an experimental choreographer working at the intersection of classical, modern and acrobatic techniques.

SUMMARY
As it was in the book:
One hot summer afternoon, the girl Alice got bored.
It was at that moment that a white rabbit rushed past her: pulling out a watch on the go, he lamented “My God, my God, how late I am!”. Alice rushed after him and fell down a rabbit hole, incredibly deep, as it turned out. Having managed to think over a lot of different things during the fall, Alice found herself in Wonderland, the kingdom of the Queen of Hearts. Everything in this world has been turned upside down. Here Alice met many strange characters: the Cheshire Cat supplied her with wise advice, the Mad Hatter assured her that every hour of the day was “the best time for tea”, and from time to time the loud “Cut off the head!” Rolled throughout the kingdom! - This is the Queen of Hearts again suspecting someone of stealing pies. Even Alice managed to get into the crazy royal court. Luckily, all she had to do was wake up. And everything turned out to be just an afternoon dream. However, is it worth being so sure of this? ..
How it will be in a ballet:
Flipping through his favorite children's book, choreographer Mauro Bigonzetti generously uses the images of Carroll's characters, but "reassembles" this story in his own way.
His ballet is about finding oneself, because it is important for everyone, no matter how crazy he may seem. The image of Alice is divided into two dancers: one embodies a little “real” girl, and the second is a curious adventurer who is not afraid to dive into a hole and solve moral puzzles that come across at every step. In fact, any of Carroll's characters embody some part of Alice, and throughout her journey she is surprised to find out who she really is.

December was given to Zoonation dancers to make a hip hop version of Alice in Wonderland, .
The performance is called Mad Hatter's Tea Party - and even the buffet at the stage is decorated in the style of English tea madness - a variety of saucer glasses, tablecloths in small flowers, old clocks and books ... Alice in Wonderland (I will go to Alice on December 31 and write more about my impressions).
And the counterpoint with the classics turned out to be wonderful:
A young doctor gets to work in a madhouse, where his patients are Alice, who cannot decide whether she is small or big; Queen of Hearts - with underwater drama; a rabbit - who is always late because he, the poor thing, has an obsessive-compulsive disorder and cannot complete any sequence of actions; there is a Cheshire cat, there is a hatter.
.. The production is accompanied by a decent amount of text, the artists themselves also periodically say something, and therefore what happens at times resembles a furious skit. But the dance numbers, with rare exceptions, are heartfelt (I almost cried on the rabbit).
Each artist is very in the image, and this is primarily a plastic image. Therefore, even when they dance general numbers, then, moving in the same way, they are all different, all characteristic.
In the second part, a huge table came out onto the stage - with all the madness of cups, saucers, teapots and dancing was already on the table!
