Emoting or dancing is one of the elements that define Fortnite, and it can be the deadliest weapon in the game when used correctly. When you get killed during a Fortnite match, you’ll automatically start spectating the person or the squad that eliminated you from the game. While this may be a boring experience since you just got sent back to the main lobby, it has the opposite effect on the person who bested you.
Players get small chat notifications indicating that they’re being spectated. In an ideal world, players could potentially turn this into an opportunity to show their enemies’ mistakes and help them learn, but it’s just another way of putting the final nail in your enemies’ coffin. Most players who realize that they’re being spectated instantly bust out the cheekiest emote or dance in their arsenal, adding more salt to the wound.
If you’ve just started unlocking dances and emotes, it may be challenging to figure out you can use them during a match. Here’s everything you need to know about using emotes in Fortnite.
Make sure that you have emotes equipped on

Add Emote to the box
The first thing to do if you want to find out what key press dance in Fortnite from PC is to start the game, so you can add the emote everybody " closet, or the section dedicated to personalizing your virtual avatar.
To do this, select the icon Pitcher epic games that you find in the desk from Windows or the macOS Launchpad, and once you are logged into your account, press the button starts what do you find in the video game Fortnite.

Check the key assignment
Once you have added the emote dance in the closet, go to the menu adjustments to see the controls section and know which key to press to dance in Fortnite (a key that, as we will see shortly, you can also modify as you wish).
To continue, click menu symbol ( ☰ ) located in the upper right corner, after which, in the relative drop-down menu you see on the screen, click gear symbol, to see the section adjustments. Now press arrows symbol located at the top, to see the card entry. This is the section related to the list of all game controls and related preset keys that have been assigned.
As you can see, the key used to dance in Fortnite is called emote ; by default this is assigned to the key (B). However, if you want to change this automatic assignment, click on the wording (B) and then press on the keyboard the key you want to set as the command for the dance.
On the dedicated key mapping screen, see also item Emote Slot wardrobe and also the one called Repeat the last Emote.
The first is used to activate one of the 6 emote previously assigned in the box, while the second serves to quickly repeat the last emote accomplished. These keys are not assigned by default (as you can see the wording exists Not assigned ). Then click on it to assign a key to your liking.
If, on the other hand, you have connected a controller to your PC, click controller symbol located in the tab at the top: this way, you can see what is the relative key dedicated to the dance. In this case you have to press the button Arrow down.

Finally, if you have changed the default assignments for Fortnite commands regarding keyboard usage (controller commands cannot be reset), press the button Esc, to return to the main menu and, on the screen you are viewing, click on the item Save, to confirm the changes you have made.
Dancing in Fortnite for PC
Now that you have identified the command necessary to dance in Fortnite for PC, you can start a new game through the screen lobby pressing the button game you see in the lower right corner.
Once the game has started, dance on Fortnite just press the button (B) that is, the default or previously assigned key.

Find and locate device

In Creative Mode , press the Tab key to open the Creative Inventory .

Click on the Devices tab. Scroll to select a device, or use the Search field or the [ list of categories relevant for the device ] option in the Category panel on the left.

Press PLACE to place device immediately, or drag it to QUICK ACCESS PANEL to place it later.

Press Esc to return to the island in creative mode. Use the phone to position the device, then click to place it. Press F to switch to the pickaxe and disconnect the device from the phone. Press tilde key (\~) to switch back to phone.

Point your phone at the device. If the pop-up "Edit" does not open immediately, move the phone closer until it appears, and then press E to open the personalization panel.
