Campus 2

The Royale High Campus 2 dance is called the Ball.

Formal Introduction

At 6:00 P.M., a pop up will appear on the player's screen saying "The Royale Dance starts at 8pm! Get ready!", with an option to teleport to the Spa. At 7:25 P.M., another pop up will appear on the player's screen saying "The ball is starting soon! Would you like to be announced in a formal fashion at the ball?". It gives the player an option to say "Yes" or "No", by clicking "Yes" the player will need to decide what to be announced as. The options are as follows:

  • Princess
  • Queen
  • Duchess
  • Lady
  • Knight
  • Prince
  • King
  • Duke
  • Lord
  • Sir
  • Royal
  • Your Majesty
  • Your Highness
  • Your Excellency
  • Overlord

After choosing what to be announced as, the player has to choose an entrance, which is an animation that will play once the player enters the ball. The options are as follows:

  • Bow
  • Spin
  • Trip
  • Dab
  • Jump Spin
  • Curtsy
  • Wave
  • Cheer
  • Backflip
  • None

After choosing an entrance the pop up will close. The player has a time limit of 60 seconds to answer these questions.

At 8:00 P.M. when the ball starts, all players that decided to participate in the formal introduction will be announced, as the doors open and they walk in doing their entrance animation, a label underneath them will display their title and the players username; "Title Username has arrived at the ball!". However, if the player has not participated in the formal introduction they will not be teleported to the ball, the ball entrance is located in the room left to the spa, there are two banners saying; "Ballroom" "Open 8pm-Midnight".

Describing Building

The floor is concrete and the walls are blue and purple. In the middle of the room there is a blue dance floor, with different colored lights beaming onto it. Surrounding the dance floor is a fence, and behind that are little ponds with rose petals, lined with crystals. On the perimeter of the room there are a few different colored two seat tables.

On the upper floor there are stained glass windows with different shapes and patterns, lining the perimeter of the building. There is also a balcony players can access, there is nothing to be seen from the balcony apart from the pitch black sky and a few twinkling stars. There is glass around the balcony so the player cannot escape. On the center of the roof there is a glass chandelier that goes through all colors of the rainbow. From the ceiling of the room there are waterfalls falling down to the ponds on the first floor.

Butlers

The Butlers will walk around serving a variety of dishes, some include drinks, pastries, and hors d'oeuvres. Clicking on any of the butlers will start them talking, each butler has a few different things they can say, once the butler stops talking there will be an option to "Take one" or say "No thanks". Clicking "Take one" will give the player the specific item that corresponds with each butler, for example Ashe gives out blueberry scones, and Brandon gives out fruit kabobs. The butlers will walk around the map. There are a few doors labelled "Ballroom Staff", the butlers will walk through these and disappear, the player cannot walk in.

Dancing Minigame

With this update brought a new dancing minigame, where two players work together by pressing the correct arrow keys. Each player has 3 hearts, 1 heart can take 3 damage before completely fading away. If the player loses all 3 of their hearts then the player's partner will start taking damage for them. There are 8 levels and each level gives the player more diamonds; 10, 20, 30, 40, 60, 80, 100, and 200 totalling to 540 diamonds. Each level the player and their partner will do a different dance.

Dance Outcomes and Stats

If the minigame is lost, text will pop up on the players screen saying "GAMEOVER Oh no, you and your partner lost! Better luck next time! git gud". If during the dancing minigame, the ball ends, text will pop up on the players screen saying "GAMEOVER The clock struck midnight and the dance has ended, you and your dancing partner dramatically separate. ". If during the dancing minigame, voting for Supreme Royalty is starting, text will pop up on the players screen saying "PAUSED Because it's voting time! Your game will continue after voting and after winners are announced. :)". If the player tries dancing with a player during the voting time, text will pop up on the players screen saying "Voting and crowning the winner for Supreme Royalty is taking place right now! Please ask your partner to proceed with dancing after the winners have been announced. :)".

Once the minigame ends, whether the player won, lost, or the ball ended, a pop up displaying the player and their partners stats will show up, showing things such as;

  • Misses
  • Best Combo
  • Accuracy

Supreme Royalty

Supreme Royalty was added in place of Prom King and Queen, at 9:45 P.M. a pop up will appear on the players screen saying "The Supreme Royalty of the Ball will be voted soon! Would you like to run for Supreme Royalty? 2 winners receive 500 diamonds and a sash of honor for the night!", the player has the option to say "yes" or "no". At 9:55 P.M., stands will spawn on the upper floor of the building and all players that wanted to run for Supreme Royalty will be teleported to them, the voting for Supreme Royalty has begun. A label near the bottom of the screen will appear and say "👑 It's time to vote for Supreme Royalty of the Ball!👑 Please vote for 2 players! You have # votes left.", there will be two arrows on the side of the screen to see more contestants. Clicking on a player will ask if the player wants to vote them for Supreme Royalty of the Ball. You have 45 seconds to vote.

A few in game minutes later, everyone's screens zoom into the curtain at the back of the room, a label in the middle of the screen says "The results are in! Those being crowned Supreme Royalty of the Ball tonight and receiving 💎500 are...". The curtains will open and reveal the two Supreme Royalties of the ball sitting on two crystal thrones, at the bottom of the screen, one pink and one blue text box will appear addressing the player's username of who won and their in game name. They will both gain 500 diamonds and a blue sash with the words "Supreme Royalty" on it, this item is not a permanent accessory and will dissapear after the player resets or leaves the game.

Trivia

  • Very rarely, bugs can occur, causing the voting and dance minigame to not work, as well as causing the butlers to over-spawn and their faces turn square.
  • There is a bug that can make the butler's trays face downwards or sideways.
  • Occasionally, the ballroom will glitch and disappear, causing everyone in the vicinity to fall to into the void (as the room is placed high above the ground). Players can survive this by flying to the school downwards.
  • If players are doing the dance minigame, it will pause during Supreme Royalty votes and completely stop when the dance is done.
  • Sometimes, when players formally enter the ballroom, they may actually turn around, and walk out to the lockers instead.
  • Sometimes the new dance will glitch, causing players to be unable to dance, or get trapped behind a second entrance door.
  • Players can glitch behind the curtains and sit on the thrones before Supreme Royalty is announced, which prevents the winning players from teleporting to the seats.
  • If the player opens up their journal, they can ask their self to play the minigame. It will do the normal gameplay as if you were playing with another person though it just mimics the stats of the player.
  • Two songs that play during the ball in the new campus are 'Comet Observatory 3' by Koji Kondo, and 'The Nutcracker Suite, Op. 71a, TH 35: VIII. Waltz of the Flowers' by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky.

Campus 1

At 10:30 PM, all players are given a dialogue box asking them to vote for the Royale High Dance King and Queen. Players cannot vote for themselves, nor can they vote for another person twice (Due to one boy and one girl being the choices for Voting). When the voting GUI appears, each player on the server will appear with a picture of their ROBLOX avatar next to their roleplay name. The King & Queen are announced at 11:00 PM and each will earn 500 diamonds, and a free bouquet of roses if they go to the gifts area. The king and queen will also be teleported to the two thrones that sit on the platform above the fountain.

Players are also able to play limbo at the party. If they are successful, they earn 25 diamonds.

During the dance, players can purchase the following:

    • If a player wins Prom King or Queen, they are able to get their bouquets for free.

Trivia

  • A limbo tip to make diamond grinding much easier can be done by standing on top of the limbo bar and using The Running Man action under the Animations tab. By doing this, the player's character limbos automatically, and they will not have to put in any effort.
  • Bouquets and other dance items can be given to other players as gifts by pressing the backspace button on your keyboard.
  • The King & Queen can receive free bouquets if they win their place.
