    What Our Customers Are Saying

“ I am a Steinway and Sons artist, have sold millions of recordings and had over 30 White House performances. Requests were made at a White House party for some Stevie Wonder tunes so I immediately pulled out my iPad, summoned Musicnotes and bought sheet music for "Overjoyed" and "Ribbon in the Sky". Your company has made me look great in so many performances. Thank you for this fabulous gift musicnotes is to performers.

    - David Osborne, Steinway Artist and "Pianist to the Presidents"

“ I sing some of the most current songs thanks to Musicnotes. I do not know how I would be able to find such great quality piano pieces and such an affordable price anywhere else. I love that I can find basically any song I want in your wide variety of music. I am also glad that you give a preview of the song so I can hear it before I buy it. This site is such a huge help to my performing abilities and is the ONLY site that I will buy sheet music from.

    - Z. Schaffer, High School Student

“ As a piano bar performer I must try to play all requests. I need the sheet music now, today, while it is hot and can earn me tips. I don't have time to find it in a collection or something containing songs I already have, or to wait for the Post Office to deliver it to me. With Musicnotes I can order it, pay for it, and have it in minutes. I can use the song that night & make a better living.

Best online dance games for PC

Tired of endless battles and monotonous grinding? Want to relax and try something completely new? Online dance games are what you need: we present a list of the best representatives of one of the most socially oriented genres.

    Just Dance 2017

A former console exclusive that made its first appearance on PC. Unlike other games on the list where virtual characters dance, Just Dance 2017 invites players to personally wave their arms and legs, trying to imitate the movements of the dancer on the screen.

Just Dance does not require special controllers: just download the assistant application to your smartphone, connect it to the same Wi-Fi network with your computer, and you can dance until you drop, both alone and with partners (or rivals) in one mode screen or online.

Alas, this pleasure cannot be called cheap: in addition to buying the game, you will have to pay for a Just Dance Unlimited subscription, otherwise you will be content with a miserable 40 music tracks. A subscription gives you access to 300+ licensed songs, so that the money spent will be more than recouped by the received emotions and calories burned. The game will help you regularly stretch your limbs after many hours of gaming sessions, and will also be the perfect entertainment for a noisy party.

    MStar

An online game that uses the Unreal Engine 3, which makes it look much more beautiful and modern than competitors. The power of the engine allowed developers to implement colorful locations and detailed characters, realistic animation and modern effects, and an advanced hero editor, combined with an extensive wardrobe, gave players the opportunity to create completely unique conquerors of the dance floors.

As far as gameplay goes, MStar is fine with that too. The game is friendly to beginners and able to challenge hardcore gamers, so there is entertainment here for every taste. In addition to actually participating in dance competitions (in which, by the way, licensed foreign and domestic musical compositions are used), users can equip their virtual apartments, go to parties, visit bars and cafes, make acquaintances, arrange dates and weddings.

Earlier in the CIS the game was published by 101XP and was available entirely in Russian. But as of the end of autumn 2021, one server remained operational - fortunately, a detailed guide on registration and Russification is available in the VKontakte game group.

    Play

    Soul Dance Party

Everything is possible in this game.

The formula of the game is simple - dance to defeat the enemy. To do this, you have to press various buttons in time and link them into spectacular combos, thus activating various abilities of the hero. You can choose from 7 dance styles, 30 music tracks and a rich wardrobe of star costumes.

It is not easy to master the local rhythm mechanics, but when it nevertheless lends itself, the gameplay of the project begins to bring genuine pleasure. Play keyboards in GarageBand for iPad

    Search this guide

With the Touch Instrument, you can play a variety of keyboards, including grand piano, electric piano, organ, clavinet, and synthesizer, by simply touching the keys on the screen.

You can select the keyboard sound, move up or down the keyboard, hold notes, and change the keyboard type and size. Some keyboards have controls for changing the pitch, modulation, velocity, and other sound parameters. The Alchemy synthesizer sounds have an advanced set of controls that you can use to customize your sound.

Chord strips (previously only available on the Smart Keyboard) can now be used with all keyboard sounds to play chords, bass notes, and melody patterns.

    Selecting a keyboard sound

    • Touch the name of the sound at the top of the screen, then touch the sound you want to play. You can also swipe left or right to go to the previous or next sound. To view key sounds in a different category, tap the category name.

Raise or lower the keyboard sound

    • To move the keyboard sound up or down by a certain number of octaves, touch the octave down button or the octave up button. To return to the middle range of the keyboard sound, touch the Reset button between the octave buttons. The number on the button is the current octave transposition value.

    Note Hold

    • While playing, touch and hold the Sustain knob. You can also drag the Sustain control to the right to keep it on.

When playing the organ, the Rotation switch is used instead of the Sustain control.

Changing the keyboard type and size

    Pitch bending and sound modulation

Some keyboard sounds, such as synthesizers and clavinets, have pitch controls (Pitch) and modulation (Mod). They can be used to change the pitch and character of the sound as you play the keyboard.

    • Turn the Pitch knob up or down to change the pitch as you play.

    • Turn the Mod. up or down to change the sound of the keyboard. Modulation can add vibrato, resonance, and other effects to the sound.

Adjusting the Sensitivity of the Keys

Increasing the Sensitivity of the Keys makes notes sound louder or softer depending on how hard you play the keys.

    1. Tap the Keyboard Options button and turn on Velocity.

    2. Spread the ends of the Velocity panel apart to increase the sensitivity range. To reduce the range, bring the ends closer together.

    3. Move the velocity slider up or down to change the sensitivity range. This method can be used after the ends of the panel have been brought together to limit the sensitivity to a narrower range.

Playing the keyboard with a swipe

You can play tunes in various ways by using the swipe left or right gesture on the keys. By default, a horizontal swipe produces soft notes. The swipe function can be changed using the Glissando button.

    • To move up or down the keyboard by swiping across the keys, tap the button until the Scroll option appears.

    • To return to the default value, touch the button until the Glissando option appears.

    • Some instruments (mostly synthesizers) have a third parameter. To smoothly switch between notes in these instruments (receiver portamento ), touch the button until the Pitch option appears.

    Sound Adjustment

Some keyboards, such as electric piano, synthesizer, and organ, have additional knobs and knobs that let you change the sound as you play. The knobs (if any) have labels showing which audio parameters they adjust. When you record a Keyboard tool, any changes to the controls are also recorded.

    Adjusting Alchemy Synthesizer Sounds

Alchemy Synthesizer Sounds are available with additional controls, Transform Pad and XY Pads. To view other controls on the Alchemy synthesizer, swipe left or right across the control area.

Each of the eight sections (called snapshots) in the Transform Pad represents a cohesive group of parameters that control the instrument's sound. You can adjust the sound by tapping a picture or by dragging a square frame between pictures. If you frame a picture, you will hear the sound for that picture. If the frame partially covers multiple pictures, the sound of those pictures is changed and the result is a new sound effect. The amount of influence of each of the involved shots on the final sound is determined by the area covered by the frame.

    Do one of the following.

    • Single image version. Tap a photo to frame it.

    • Merge sound from multiple pictures. Move the frame so that it partially covers the pictures you want.

    • Sound merge with gyro. Touch the gyro control button above the keyboard and tilt iPad to move the frame.

    • Change the sound with XY panels. Swipe right or left in the controls area to open the XY panels. Drag the controls on the two XY panels. When you change the position of a knob, the values of the X and Y axes also change in the corresponding panel.

    Setting the Organ Sound

Organ keyboard sounds are registers located to the left of the control area. Drawbars make it easy to change the sound of an organ by adjusting the relative volume of different overtones or register . The registers are arranged from left to right, from lower to higher tones; dragging a register down increases the volume of its overtone, and dragging it up reduces it.

You can also adjust the speed of the Leslie effect using the Rotate switch.

Customizing the sound with facial expressions

If your iPad supports facial recognition, you can add vibrato, resonance, and otherwise modify some keyboard sounds by moving your mouth while you play.

    1. While holding iPad between 25 and 50 cm from your face, tap the facial recognition button.

The first time you use facial recognition, GarageBand will ask you for permission to access the camera on your iPad.

    2. Open and close your mouth as you play to change the sound.

    3. To turn off the facial recognition feature, touch the facial recognition button again.

While playing with the Alchemy synthesizer sounds, it is not possible to use the gyro control and facial recognition functions at the same time.

GarageBand uses ARKit's face tracking features, allowing you to use facial expressions to control instrument effects. Your face information is processed on the device, only music is recorded during performance.

Playing the keyboard using a specific scale

    • Touch the Scale button, then touch the scale you want to play.

After selecting a scale, the keyboard will display notes instead of keys. Touch them to play fret notes.

Displaying note labels on the keyboard

You can display note labels on each key of the keyboard.

    1. Close GarageBand.

    2. In the Settings app, scroll down and then tap GarageBand.

    3. Touch "Keyboard Labels".

    Automatic Arpeggio Play

The Keyboard (Touch) instrument has an arpeggiator. If it is on, then chords are played using method Arpeggio : Notes are played sequentially instead of simultaneously.

The arpeggiator is not available for the Alchemy synthesizer sounds listed in the Arpeggiated section.

    • Tap the Arpeggiator button, then tap the Start switch.

When the Arpeggiator is turned on, other controls appear under the Start switch that allow you to change the note order, frequency, and octave range of the arpeggio.

      • Touch the Note Order button and select the order in which the chord will play.

      • Touch the Number of Notes button and select the desired number based on the tempo of the song.

      • Touch the up and down arrows next to Octave Range to specify how many octaves the arpeggio covers.

When the Arpeggiator is on, the Sustain button becomes a Lock button. If you touch and hold the Lock button (or turn it on) while the arpeggiator is running, playback of the current arpeggio will continue. If you touch another key while the arpeggiator is running, the current arpeggio will start from that note.

Play the keyboard with chord strips

Play chords or bass notes with chord strips

    • Play chords up or down. Touch one of the top five segments of the chord bar.

    • Play bass chords or bass notes. Touch one of the three lower segments of the chord strip.

    • Play chords or bass notes together. Touch the top and bottom segments at the same time.

You can add your own chords to play.

    Playing Melody Patterns

    1. Turn the Auto Play knob to one of the numbered positions.

    2. Touch a segment of one of the chord strips.

      • The upper segments (on which the chord name is displayed) sound like the chord and its bass note together.

      • Middle segments sound like chords only. Tapping with two or three fingers allows you to play variations.

      • The lower segments sound like bass notes only.

    3. To stop drawing, tap the segment again.

Chord strips for monophonic keyboard sounds are not divided into segments. Turn the Auto Play knob to select the rhythm pattern that will play when you touch the chord bar. If you touch another chord strip, the same rhythmic pattern will be played, but on different notes.

    Custom Sound Save

    1. Change the current keyboard sound using the keyboard controls.
