Ribbons from 4 mm wide are used for this type of embroidery. Ribbons are the same threads, therefore, they should be embroidered with a stalk seam, a stitch by a needle. Special tape seams are also used, for example, tambour. Decorative pillows are embroidered with ribbons, which will serve exclusively as decoration.

Beaded embroidery of decorative pillows is often used.

Fabric for embroidery with beads should be taken like canvas with a visible weave. Each bead of beads is sewn with a thread in color using a half-cross stitch. At the same time, it is very important to sew the beads evenly.
