90,000 8 best dance television shows from around the world, from which you do not come off

In our Telegram channel , VKontakte group and Yandex. Zen Channel

9000 ____________________________________ New Dances" (2021 - present)

"New Dances" is both the legal successor of the "Dancing on TNT" project and a completely independent show. In fact, these projects are united by people, but the essence is fundamentally different. "New Dances" went on the air in 2021, and immediately captured the attention of the audience. After all, here the amount of drive, adrenaline and drama just rolls over. The bottom line is this: the best dancers in the country compete in four categories: solo, duets, teams and children. According to the tournament, the participants go through the battle system: if you lose in a one-on-one battle, you are eliminated. Everything is decided by a mixed jury of dance gurus and media stars from other industries. nine0015

The first season was full of intrigue: ex-lovers, students and teachers, superstars and newcomers fought on the dance floor. The second season promises to be even more dynamic: the authors of the show have reduced the number of participants in the segment in order to further intensify competition and raise the level of the project. In addition, new faces on the jury are expected: from Ida Galich to Evgenia Medvedeva.

Dancing with the Stars (2005-present)

The world-famous show started on American ABC in 2005, and in 2006 came to Russian TV. It was in this show that the concept of making pairs of professional dancers and stars from other areas was born. Then the same approach was used, for example, in no less popular ice shows. nine0015

Participants are given a pre-determined dance to rehearse. After their performance, the couple is waiting for the jury's assessments - everything is like in a real dance tournament. The only difference is that in the show, the result is also influenced by the viewer, who can vote for the participants they like. The best are identified by the method of: elimination: the couple with the lowest votes leaves the project every week.

Dance Moms (2011-2017)

In this reality show, viewers could follow the life of a real dance studio under the direction of strict choreographer Abby Lee Miller. She was engaged in staging numbers that were presented at tournaments, and all this under the watchful eyes of television cameras. nine0015

Studio students learned new numbers weekly, which could be both group and solo. But the right to speak separately had to be earned. The head of the studio posted fresh ratings of their students every week, and the cameras closely watched the reactions of both the girls themselves and their mothers.

"So you can dance?" / So You Think You Can Dance (2005 - present)

The legendary "DANCES on TNT" owes its inspiration to this show. The original project was released in 2005, and later grew into a huge media franchise. The essence is simple and everyone knows: you come to an open casting, show what you are capable of, make your way into the television version, and light it up there. nine0015

First, 50 people are selected, then twenty of the strongest remain: men and women equally. Then they show dance skills in all varieties: in solo performances or united in duets and teams. The best are determined not only according to the jury, but also with the help of audience voting.

"The Greatest Dancer" / The Greatest Dancer (2019-2020)

The project with the original concept allowed participants to win 50 thousand pounds every week and get the opportunity to participate in the iconic "Dancing with the Stars". To do this, it was necessary to convince the audience first, and then the jury. At the first stage, the participants performed in front of Gesell's mirror without seeing the auditorium. The audience, in turn, could react to the speeches. 75% of positive reactions - and you pass on. nine0015

At the second stage, dance groups were evaluated by mentors. They chose the best dancer of the day, who got the opportunity to take part in live concerts, and in the future - to get into the team of dancers of the star mentor.

Bring It On! (2014-2019)

This reality show covered the life of a dance team led by Diana Williams. The Dancing Dolls team is a team with a history, which has a lot of serious titles and awards, but it is not going to stop there. "Dolls" regularly participate in hip-hop battles, and in their classical sense: when the opponent is directly opposite. nine0015

In the show you can watch the life and training of the team, as well as their performances. The main rivals are also in place: there is both the “sworn enemy” of the coach and the eternal opponents of the team itself.

"Kings of the Dance Floor" / America's Best Dance Crew (2008-2015)

Eight seasons of this show on MTV channel made it a true cult. The author of the project Randy Jackson, a composer, musician and music manager, came up with a show specifically to promote the dex culture. And it worked: the dancers went to the show in droves, and it turned them into real superstars. nine0015

Participants of the show were divided into teams with flags and given different tasks: be sure to repeat the legendary "moonwalk" of Michael Jackson or show a dance to the song of Mariah Carey.

"World of Dance" / World of Dance (2017-2021)

The author of the project is the famous singer and actress Jennifer Lopez, who, with the help of projects, decided to remind everyone, and first of all herself, that she started with dancing. In this show, Lopez quickly gathered a solid audience due to, among other things, personal participation in the project. nine0015

In the project, the participants were divided into three categories: children, teams of up to four people and large groups. To evaluate such diverse dancers, the show introduced a set of criteria for evaluating participants. It included everything from the smoothness of transitions to the reaction of the audience. To win one million dollars, you had to impress on all fronts.
