Recently, an old dance performance of hers has gone viral on TikTok as the latest dance craze dueted by the app’s users. But not one to be outdone, Duff just created a video of her own, recreating her moves and, in the process, proving that she’s definitely still got it.
The video that’s making the rounds online is from a 2007 performance Duff gave on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno. In the clip, she performs some coordinated dance moves with her backup dancers during her song, “With Love. ” In the 2007 video, we hate to say, it looks like Duff was having a little bit of an off night — her moves are a little stiff and she looks less than thrilled to be performing them. That’s a big part of why the video is going viral now, more than a decade later. Duff is a real mood in the clip.

And now, like the queen she is, Duff is taking back control of the entire narrative around the video. In a new clip she just uploaded to social media, she takes part in the trend herself, recreating those old dance moves next to the video from 2007.
“HERE YOU GOOOOOOOO!” she wrote in the caption, which seems to indicate that a lot of people have been asking her to do her own duet with the old video. Over on Instagram, where she also posted, Duff revealed that it’s actually her friends and family who have been bugging her about it, writing in the caption, “So I can stop receiving text about this….✌🏻 also….. I tik toked….and it was a 12% kinda day.”
In her new video, Duff is a little more enthusiastic about her dance moves than she was back in 2007. In fact, she looks like she’s having a total blast reliving this moment from so long ago in her career. You love to see a successful actress who has a good sense of humor about her slightly-less-successful past music career. But Duff has never been one to take herself too seriously — like in May, when she debated on her Instagram story whether she was “cheugy.”
“Listen, guys, I’ve been stressing for days about this,” Duff said at the time. “Ever since I heard the word, fear [has been] overcoming my mind. Like, am I cheugy? Are you cheugy? Do you know if you’re cheugy?”
The questions we should all be asking, TBH.

Hilary Duff just showed TikTok (and her younger self) how the dance to “With Love” is actually supposed to go.
TikTok user Devin Santiago, who goes by @yungdaddycack on the platform, posted a video in October 2021 in which he copied Hilary’s moves from a 2007 performance of “With Love” on The Tonight Show With Jay Leno. He stitched his version next to the clip of Hilary on The Tonight Show so users could see the dance he was following.

Devin did a wonderful job and reminded us all of how great a song “With Love" is. In fact, his video was so good that it actually caught the attention of Hilary Duff herself. In November 2021, she took to the platform to duet Devin’s video. How did she do? She absolutely rocked it. Somehow, she appears to have become even better on her feet in the last decade.
Naturally, users went ecstatic in the comments. “YOU DID NOT!!!!!!!! The griiiiip this song/dance had me on shjdkdjd,” comedian Chris Klemens wrote.
Meanwhile, Spotify wrote “You did what had to be done," with a fire emoji.
TikTok creator Alex Wong also left some kind words: “YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS FINALLY THE QUEEN HAS SPOKEN,” hinting at how it's been a minute since we’ve seen Ms. Duff move like that.

Hilary Duff is currently working on 'How I Met Your Father' with Josh Peck and Phil Lewis.
While Hilary Duff probably won't be returning to the stage anytime soon, she is continuing to pursue acting. Hilary is set to star in a new series alongside Drake and Josh star Josh Peck and The Suite Life of Zack and Cody star Phill Lewis that's sure to make every millennial feel nostalgic. The upcoming show, titled How I Met Your Father, will be a spinoff of the sitcom How I Met Your Mother, which wrapped in 2014.

It's unknown when the series will be released, but it will be available to stream on Hulu.
Until HIMYF drops, you could always pass some time by learning Hilary's "With Love" dance. The sound has been used in almost 200 videos on TikTok so far. While this is a fairly low number, it is understandable considering how complex the routine is. Also, does anyone really have the guts to try and one-up the pop queen herself? I sure hope not.

People dance and have always danced – all over the world and at all times! The dance expresses those emotions that are the driving force for a person: joy, sadness, love or gratitude. The body is the most important instrument of the dancers, and at the same time the human body is the central artistic theme for Lea Fuchs. The artist's paintings are characterized by bright colors and strong contrasts with expressive
graphic elements. The Endless Dance exhibition is a reflection of our overly rationalized society, which leaves little room for the irrational and the dance. This series of works is dedicated to dancing people, in which Lea Fuchs questions the dominance of the rational and makes intuition and feelings visible.
Lea Fuchs about her work.
“I am a multidisciplinary artist, but I have contrasting, strong, energetic and balanced colorful paintings. The driving force behind my work is post-impressionism, pop art, Japanese art, as well as a subtle sense of color and fascination with the beauty of things that I see and feel every day. I don't draw the objects themselves, but the emotions they evoke in me. My main tool is color. My aspiration is to create the art of joy, balance and tranquility. My works should have a positive effect on a person's consciousness, calm and relax him - this is something like a soft pillow that provides comfort to your head and opens the flow of positive energy. Pictures are windows to the imagination. In a stressful, frenetic world, I strive to create a refuge for the soul."
Dr. Rene Gadsden , art critic.
“Through painting archetypal forms and enigmatic figures, Leah Fuchs explores social factors and gender constructs as a fundamental aspect of the human condition. Her visual world opens the windows of human perception of the 21st century. Fortunately, these windows exist for both her and her viewers.”

The new possibilities of active room design should not be confused with the "supported reverb" used since the 1950s at the Royal Festival Hall and later at the Limehouse Studios. And in my report, I drew the attention of company owners to this problem as the most important threat to their business. My theses caused a lot of questions and a long discussion on forums in social networks."
